THE HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEM BIS 2040 enables transfer of acoustic and light information.

This system enables acoustic-light signalization of “patient-nurse” calls, and is intended for the intensive care rooms. There is only one type of call, that is, urgent call.

The hospital information system BIS 2040 is composed of the following elements:
- central panel (CP)
- parallel panel(PP)
- call/quit (release) combination (PRK)
- hand set (RS)
- supply unit (NJ)

SYSTEM ELEMENTS DESCRIPTION

Dimensions:
depending on number of beds

ee

CENTRAL PANEL (CP 2041)

CP is mounted on the wall or in the nurse panel. There are one red LED for each bed and loudspeaker on the front side of device. The bed call is signaled with blinking LED and discontinuous tone. Acoustic signal can not be quitted on the CP, but only on the call-quit combination.

s

Dimensions: depending on the number of rooms

ee

PARALLEL PANEL (PP2041)

The PP is mounted on the wall or in the nurse panel. It transfers the part or whole information from one surveillance unit to the another one. It can be switched on with equipped switch-over on the front side, and connection with the central panel is made with two wire cable.

s

Dimensions: 80 x 80 x50

ee

CALL-QUIT COMBINATION (PRK 2041)

The PRK is mounted in an hospital set of intensive care, in the wall or onto the wall. For mounting in/on the wall, uses the mounting box DZ 2000. It includes outlet for the hand set (RS 2003) connection and quit push-button with an indicating LED.
The call made with hand set can be released (quitted) only with push-button on the PRK.

It enables following functions:
- hand-set (RS 2003) connection
- reset call

s

Dimensions: 80 x 80 x 50mm

ee

CALL-QUIT COMBINATION (PRK 2042)

IThis unit is different from the previous, because it is without light on/off switch, and hand set type RS 2004 can be connected on it.

It enables following functions:
- hand-set (RS2004) connection
- reset call

s

Dimensions:40 x 70 x 20mm

ee

HAND SET(RS 2003)

It can be connected to the connecting terminal (PT 2001A,PT 2001A2) . It can be used for the remote nurse call. There is also one button for reading lamp on/off switching.

It enables following functions:
- reading lamp control
- nurse call

s

Dimensions:40 x 70 x 20mm

ee

HAND SET (RS 2004)

It can be connected to the connecting terminal (PT 2002, PT 2004) and can be used for the remote nurse call.

It enables following functions:
- nurse call

s

Dimensions:140 x 70 x 50 mm

ee

SUPPLY UNIT (NJ 2041)

This supply unit is contained in a plastic box and mounted in the nurse panel. It enables DC voltage (+12V) for CP and other system elements supplying.

THE HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEM BIS 2040
The hospital information system BIS 2040 is especially intended for use in the intensive care rooms and other hospital units for the intensive survey of patients.

Every patient is equipped with one hand set (RS) which is connected to the call-quit combination (PRK) mounted on the wall or on the patient set of intensive care (UBS 2200). There is one central panel (CP) on the wall (near the nurse panel) or in the nurse panel. One or more parallel panels (PP) can be set out of the nurse panel. All system elements are supplied with supply unit (NJ).

The patient activates a call by depressing the button on the hand set. This causes blinking of red LED in the hand set, as confirmation of call; blinking red LED on the PRK and blinking red LED representing the paging bed, on the central panel. At the same time, sounds one interrupting acoustic signal. All or part of information are transferred at the parallel panel, if it is switched on. Display of information on the parallel panel is the same as in the central panel.

The nurse can not release acoustic nor visual signal, and has to go to the paging bed,and release this call on the call-quit combination with OK button.

Depressing the OK button, the call-quit red LED stops blinking, and also red LED on the hand set and red LED on the central /parallel panel. Also the acoustic tone is switched of, so the call is released(quitted ).
