BACTERICIDE DEVICE BCS 2000 are intended for the air and object surface sterilization by means of UV radiation. They are recommended for use in medical ambients (surgical theaters, intensive care, infective disease, maternity hospital etc.), but also can be used in the crowded rooms (waiting halls, apothecary's shops, kindergartens etc.).
Bactericide lamps are very useful in the plants for food processing and stocking.
Radiation source used in BCS 2000 is a special fluorescent tube (quicksilver of low pressure) which radiates characteristic ultra-violet light,with optimal bactericide efect on 253.7 nm.
Increased absorbed dose of UV radiation can cause harmful efects (conjuctivitis, erythem), so it is important to consider following recommendation of the American Medical Association:
a) at steady radiation exposure, UV radiation intensity must not be greater than 0.1mW/cm2.
b) at exposures equals or shorter than 7 hours/day,intensity must not be greater than
0.5mW/cm2.
If personnel should work longer periods of time in the UV radiation zone, and intensity of radiation exceeds recommended one, it is necessary to use protective creams and glasses.
Bactericide lamp (nominal power 30W and length of 90cm, the most frequently used as the radiation source in BCS 2000) has the following intensity:
Lamps of this type are mounted on the wall, and can be fixed or adjustable. The lamp housing is made of aluminum profiles or pickled sheet-metal. |

BACTERICIDE WALL LAMP (BCS 2011)
BCS 2011 is mounted on the wall, the most frequently above the door, 2.1m from the floor, and can be positioned ± 900 upwards or downwards.
There is one plastic grid on the front side of lamp, but it is not important for its function. The terminal clamp is positioned on the end of lamp, beneath the one of fixing coverings. BCS 2000 is made of aluminum profile, plastic coated in white (RAL 9010) or anodized (E0).
Recommended for patient rooms, waiting rooms, ambulances etc. |

BACTERICIDE WALL LAMP (BCS 2012)
This lamp is the same as previous one (BCS 2011), but the only difference is in builded UV source of only 15W. This lamp is intended for the narrow rooms (less than 1.3m, such as laboratories or pantries), where the BCS 2011 lamp can not be mounted.

CLOSED VENTILATION BACTERICIDE LAMP (BCS 2016)
This lamp is intended for the wall mounting and can not be repositioned. It is covered (on the front side) with protective screen,to prevent direct look to the light source, so it can be used in rooms for extended presence of personnel. It is made of Al profile.
The lamp is mounted directly on the wall (2.1m above the floor), and terminal clamp may be located on the back side (for connection of the wall cable) or lateral (for the mains outlet).

BCS COUNTER WITH MECHANICAL SWITCH
This Hour meter with a mechanical switch has a function to display and remember the number of hours of bactericidal lamps.
After start lamp switch on the LED display shows the total number of working hours and lights up green LED indicator that signals the proper operation. After these 8 000 hours of work lights up red LED indicator that signals the need to replace lamps.
Hour meter is mounted in a wall or in a technical cabinet in the operating rooms

Lamps of BCS 2020 type are mounted on the ceiling and also can be swiveled. They are made of aluminum profiles or pickled sheet-metal ,and fixed to the ceiling with fixing coverings. It is possible to adjust distance to the ceiling in the range of 0.9 to 1.4m.
BCS 2021 lamp can be mounted on the ceiling, and swivel angle is ± 90O

BACTERICIDE POST LAMP (BCS 2036)
Advantage of this lamp (BCS 2036) is possibility of source adjusting by height. BCS 2036 is connected by cable without the switch.
For the switching on/off of the BCS 2000 bactericide lamps, can be used any suitable classic switch of any manufacture. It is recommended special marking of this switches so we offer our switches which visually correspond to the BCS 2000 system.
